r a plan pursuant to section 401(k) of the Internal Revenue Code, which is a qualified plan that may provide for a discretionary contribution or a matching contribution each year. Matching contributions are 75 % of the first $ 1,000 and 25 % of the next $ 1,000 of eligible compensation deferred by each participant annually. Our LTIP is a non-qualified deferred compensation plan that provides benefits to certain employees who meet certain compensation or production requirements. Corporate-owned life insurance is the primary source of funding for this plan. See Note 11 for information regarding the carrying value of these corporate-owned life insurance policies.
